We had a night out in Thonglor and wanted somewhere nice to chill, so we decided to visit 008 Bar. Hidden inside MUU Bangkok Hotel behind a wall near the swimming pool, the bar instantly gives you a classy and intimate speakeasy vibe.
Luckily, we visited on a special night with a live jazz band playing, which made the atmosphere even better. The dim lighting, great cocktails, good seats, and amazing service made the whole night feel really special.
Most of the customers were couples, so the vibe felt very romantic and perfect for date nights. But it’s also a great place to come with friends, especially for small groups looking for a cozy spot to talk and enjoy drinks together.
There’s no strict dress code, so you can dress casually and still fit the atmosphere perfectly. And of course, the signature cocktails were really good and matched the speakeasy concept well.
