Crimson Room is evocative of the lively dance and entertainment halls of the roaring twenties, that glorious decade when jazz flourished, and liquor was in abundance despite being prohibited. Styled to look like a glamorous theater, the space features large chandeliers, globe lights and dark wooden partitions. The drinking area is set on different levels, reminiscent of a stylish stadium, and is strategically positioned so that patrons can get both a good view and an intimate feel of an impressive stage at the front of the room. Every night, the red velvet curtains open to reveal respected names in Bangkok’s jazz scene as well as up-and-coming jazz prodigies, who never fail to deliver mesmerizing performances.
