In 2008 Lazcru won the Drum and Bass Arena xmas comp with over 100 entries world wide and got to play at the scala club, Kings cross, London. Since winning the comp Lazcru has had regular apperances on DNBTV also reached the finals of the Valve nationwide DJ comp and came runner up of Londons sw4 festival DJ comp.
