ONRA is a music producer from Paris, France.
Mostly from a Hip-Hop background, his inspirations vary from genres such as Soul, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Boogie, Modern Soul, R&B, Dub, World and Prog Rock to name a few.
Onra has gained worldwide recognition, notably for his albums “Chinoiseries” which he flips vintage Chinese & Vietnamese records into Hip-Hop instrumentals and “1.0.8” which was inspired by Bollywood movie samples. Onra has toured the world several times over and has been selected to attend numerous prestigious music events including Red Bull Music Academy & Sonar Festival.
His latest & highly acclaimed album “Long Distance” explores the realms of Boogie, Hip-Hop and Old School R&B with a New School twist under Irish label All City Records. “Long Distance” was on numerous top 10 albums (and downloads) lists of 2010, including Juno, Urban Daily, XLR8R & Phonica.
Onra has just finished his second US tour.
