After bringing us Brit alt rock outfit Placebo last year, the annual music and art festival Tiger Translate returns with American indie outfit We Are Scientists. Known for their dancey numbers like “Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt” and “The Great Escape,” the trio are set to perform on Apr 22, alongside our own punk group Plot. We wish we knew more, but other details are still sketchy at the moment. Do watch this space, though, for further updates.
Speaking of indie, The Drums are also slated to play in Bangkok at an event which has been described to us by a reliable source as a “concert-slash-party.” The dudes behind the feel-good tune “Let’s Go Surfing” will debut their gig here on May 24, promising their scintillating 80s-influenced synths and that undying spirit of youth. Stay tunes for more details.
